G E N E R A L

I.
Powerplaying, God-Moding, Scrypting, and chatspeak are strictly forbidden in the in-character boards. If you need help understanding those terms, PM me.

II.
Respect is very important. Please respect not only staff members, but other members and guests. There's no reason to be rude or hostile. If there is a problem between members/staff take it to the PMs, not the boards. Any hate threads I find will be deleted and the poster will be warned. If there is a problem with a guest, PM a staff member.

III.
Images MUST be appropriate. I will NOT tolerate any pornographic pictures on this site. If I see any, the poster will be banned without question.

Please have your display name be the name of your main character. No Graystripe_Luv54684387643. If we find this, your display name WILL be changed. Anyone who changes it back to something as goofy as this will be warned. Sorry, but I can't stand dumb names like this on a role playing forum. In saying that, you many decorate your display name if you wish. Just don't get too carried away. :3

II.
Please fill out the form and wait for your characters to be accepted. Once you've had one character accepted, you do not need to fill out the example section again. Just place the names of your other characters or leave it blank.

III.
The Clan leader assessing your application has the right to deny you. They will always give you tips on how to improve it, and you're always encouraged to try again. Please modify your first post instead of creating a new thread though. Save us the work of having to delete your old thread. :}

IV.
We do not have a character/account limit, however all characters MUST be kept active. If we see you struggling, we will tell you to lighten your load. Don't take it personally.

IF YOU HAVE A HIGH-RANKING POSTION, YOU MUST BE 100% ACTIVE!
I don't mean, kill-yourself-to-get-online, I mean that in having a high rank, you'll have cats/members that are depending on you. PLEASE, if you can't handle it, don't apply for them. We need warriors, queens, elders. They're all important!

V.
All signature images may not exceed 600x300 pixels. Like-wise, avatars can only be a maximum of 100x100 pixels. Any images that break this rule will be deleted. If you would like an image re-sized, you can request it in "The Zone".

VI.
I will only allow natural colors for eyes and coat. This means that any violet, neon, black, or red eyes will not be allowed. Likewise for pink cats or polka-dotted fur.

VII.
Newly created accounts will have a grace period of THREE days! That means you have three days to begin posting. ANY new account that fails to do so on the fourth day will be deleted.

FOR OLDER MEMBERS:
If you don't post in a weeks time, you could be deleted/stripped of your high rank.
Post in the away board if you know you're going to be away. Simple, no?

VIII.
Only TWO high ranking positions per member, though one member can NOT have two leaders. Examples are a deputy and a med cat, or a leader and a deputy. And the two positions cannot be in the same Clan. Any questions, PM Fallen.

Please try to be as active as you can be. There is a board for posting away messages; make use of it.

II.
Please separate Ooc speech in the Ic areas with [brackets] or (parenthesis). Also, keep all dialog obvious in the threads. While using "quotation" marks is proper, the speech will still blend into your post. I'd prefer that you BOLD the dialog. It's easier to read that way.

III.
If a thread goes inactive, you have the right to pull your character from it and post elsewhere. Just say it died, and it'll be locked and moved.

IV.
Following the rule above, please keep your character in no more than two threads at a time. Also, tracking your movement from thread to thread is encouraged. This means on your leaving post, state in Ooc that you've left. And on your first post in a new thread, state in Ooc where you've come from last. Simple as that.

V.
Please make your Ic posts at least two well-written paragraphs. This includes proper grammar and spelling. We have a spell checker, and Microsoft Word works well too. The first few times you fail to do this, you will just be given a reminder in your thread. However, constant problems with this will give you a warning. It's really simple to post good quality threads, all you need is to really get into your character.

VI.
As a follow-up with the last rule, ALL Ic posts MUST be in the third person/past tense!

Fights can break out anywhere in the Ic boards. Staff members will NOT get involved in any fights unless we are called to judge or monitor the fight by the participants. If we are called in, we will judge fairly and in a non-discriminatory fashion based on skill and how the fight ends. Then, we will simply post the victor.

II.
This may not belong here, but I felt that it had relevance to fighting. Just because another member has challenged you to a fight, or has their character not like you, DOESN'T mean that they hate you in Ooc. It's a game. Though, it should also be said for the reverse side of this matter: keep Ic quarrels separate from Ooc.

III.
Graphic fights are prohibited. Extreme gore and vulgar language qualifies the thread as mature. What I deem as graphic and what you deem as graphic (for both fights and breeding) may not be the same. I apologize for that, and if you see a post anywhere on this site that bothers you, feel free to PM me and I'll take care of it.

IV.
Don't be too afraid of death. Remember that the game doesn't end there. When a cat dies, follow the instruction in the "Death" board's description. The cat's life (Clan or not) will be assessed by the StarClan NPC (Fallen) and it will be decided whether it will join StarClan or not. While no other member can kill your cat without your permission, if a staff member notices you in a fatal situation, they have the RIGHT to say that your cat is too damaged to recover. So if you don't want it to die, be smart about fighting..

Please follow the form in the "Litters" area of the Ooc boards. A staff member will post the litter size, genders, personality, and the coat colors. There can be anywhere from 1-5 kits per litter.

Remember that not all breeding sessions are successful..

II.
You DON'T need to post the kits' profiles in the joining board. You can if you want to build up on what was given to you about them. The profiles of the litters will remain undeleted so you can use them in place of a user-written profile.

III.
There is no assigned mating season. Kits are important to the Clans for their future and strength. The more kits, the more warriors.

When a leader looses a life, make sure to let Fallen know. The change will be marked by that leader's name in the main table. Remember that in the game, ONLY the leader and medicine cats know how many lives are left! Unless they're told or what-not. Of course, StarClan cats know as well.

II.
When a leader dies, the new leader (deputy of fallen leader) MUST post at the Moontree. They can bring their medicine cat if they wish, but they need to receive their lives. Fallen will post under the newly appointed leader and give them their 'star' name.

III.
For Clan Gatherings, the leader will announce who gets to join the thread at the top of their first post. There will be two warriors and one apprentice that will be invited each Gathering.
These cats are ALWAYS invited:
-Leader (duh)
-Deputy
-Med. Cat
The med. cat apprentice can be invited and doesn't count toward the final tally.

Only medicine cats and their apprentices can attend medicine cat gatherings.

Pass is starlight
